Services Available for Students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD)

DSA diagnosis in accordance with Law 170/2010

which must:

• include the nosographic codes
• be issued by the National Health Service or by a private center accredited by your home region
• if issued by a non-accredited private specialist, it must be accompanied by a certificate of conformity issued by the National Health Service
• be issued after reaching the age of majority (18 years) or within the previous three years
• for students holding a clinical certification issued by authorities from other countries, it is necessary to submit documentation legalized by the Italian diplomatic or consular authorities abroad and accompanied by an Italian translation produced by an authorized official translator
• for Erasmus students with disabilities or other diagnosed disorders, the clinical documentation must be accompanied by a statement of conformity and validity issued by the Disability Service of the home university

The University promotes inclusive teaching that recognizes and values individual differences. We aim to establish an open dialogue from the outset among students, the SDDA, and faculty members to identify suitable study methods and effective learning strategies.

Compensatory tools and exemption measures are agreed upon individually in collaboration with the SDDA, which assesses their necessity based on clinical documentation and each individual's profile.

These measures are then formally communicated to instructors by the designated faculty representative, authorizing their implementation during examinations.
