Overview
The help desk provides guidance, support, and referral services for women who are victims of violence, as well as for LGBTQIA+ individuals who have experienced discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
Services Offered
The service is completely free of charge and offers individual consultations in a safe space managed by professionals with expertise in gender-based violence and homo-lesbo-bi-transphobia; initial guidance and basic legal information; and direct connection to the local CAV and CAD support networks and local community organizations.
Target Audience
The service is available to the entire community of the University for Foreigners of Perugia: students, technical and administrative staff, academic and research staff, PhD candidates, and all contracted personnel.
About Us
The help desk is managed by the associations Libera…Mente Donna and Omphalos LGBTQIA+, both of which have been providing anti-violence and anti-discrimination services in the region for decades.
