As part of its online Italian language courses, the University provides students with AIDI, an artificial intelligence-based system designed to support language learning.
AIDI enables students to interact with a conversational assistant and practise the Italian language through scenarios and situations tailored to the linguistic level of their chosen programme.
The system has been configured and developed with the contribution of the University and is being progressively refined through the scientific and teaching activities of University researchers.
Artificial intelligence serves as a learning support tool and does not replace the lecturer nor the assessment activities required by the curriculum.
The artificial intelligence service is used with Zero Data Retention (ZDR) configuration, aimed at preventing the provider from retaining content transmitted via API beyond what is strictly necessary for the requested processing.
