The online Italian language courses offered by the University for Foreigners of Perugia feature an innovative program with flexible schedules designed for autonomous learning.
The courses use artificial intelligence systems, complemented by regular synchronous meetings with teachers and tutors scheduled upon request, to meet users’ specific needs.
Advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems help improve language practice, simplify access to information, enable personalized learning, and provide ongoing guidance for students.
Activities are adaptable and customizable to meet the needs of both groups and individual students.
Online Italian Language Course Packages
The courses are tailored to the client’s needs, starting from two standard configurations:
Basic Training
This course, delivered via the Moodle platform, is structured as fully asynchronous learning. It includes video lessons, teaching materials, self-correcting exercises, and interactive activities in forums.
It does not automatically include synchronous meetings: any interventions by tutors or teachers, such as forum moderation or live lessons, can be added upon request and quoted separately.
Basic Training + AI
This package includes all the features of the basic, fully asynchronous training, and adds advanced, interactive language study through Artificial Intelligence. A dedicated chatbot enhances the learning experience by offering an interactive space that is always available, able to simulate real communicative scenarios and adapt to the student’s level and goals.
Here too, any synchronous sessions with teachers or tutors, structured moderation activities, or personalized feedback sessions can be provided as additional modules, quoted separately.
Full Course (Basic Training + AI + Synchronous Activities)
This package comprises the complete training program: asynchronous learning on the Moodle platform, AI integration, and synchronous activities with teachers or tutors.
The asynchronous component includes structured video lessons, learning materials, self-correcting exercises, and learning forums.
The AI integration provides an always-available interactive space with a dedicated chatbot for communicative simulations, guided practice, and personalized progression based on the student’s level and progress.
In addition, synchronous activities can include:
– live individual or group lessons
– conversation and role-play sessions
– tutoring and active forum moderation
– feedback sessions and intermediate or final evaluations
The synchronous activities are defined according to the client’s needs and quoted separately depending on the number of hours, number of participants, and the language level required.
The full course thus allows you to combine autonomy, technological personalization, and structured academic guidance in a single coherent and flexible pathway.
