As part of the Italian language and culture courses, culture courses are also offered to enthusiasts and interested participants, Italian or international, from various disciplines, as well as students enrolled in language courses.
Courses are delivered in-person, but it is also possible to attend remotely (live online sessions), allowing for active participation and interaction with lecturers (excluding off-site art classes, which are reserved for in-person students only).
Courses last one month (12 hours with a variable weekly schedule) and are activated with a minimum of 8 students.

The minimum level required for admission to the courses is B2 according to the CEFR.
International students must submit a certificate or attestation of Italian language proficiency (at least level B2) issued by the University for Foreigners of Perugia or an equivalent institution.
Requests submitted by students at A2 or B1 level may be subject to specific approval by the Director of the Department of Italian Language, Literature and Arts in the World, by sending an email to didattica.lingua@unistrapg.it.
At the end of the course, students may request a certificate of attendance.
The certificate will be issued only after the Student Administration Office has verified that the student attended at least 70% of the classes.
In the C1 and C2 level courses, the Italian language proficiency certificate can only be obtained by attending three language courses and two monthly culture courses (chosen from those listed) until completion of the macro level.
