Eligibility
The courses are open to third-country nationals residing in Umbria who meet the following criteria:
- third-country nationals residing in the Umbria region who are over 16 years old, or over 15 and enrolled in upper secondary schools, provided these schools have agreements with CPIA for language literacy
- holders of a valid residence permit, including those with international protection (Asylum/Refugee Status and subsidiary protection) and holders of humanitarian protection
Applicants with an asylum seeker's permit (asylum seekers) are also eligible.
Application and Submission Procedures
The application must be submitted (completed and signed) to the University for Foreigners of Perugia at the National Projects Service – Palazzina Valitutti
Piazza Giorgio Spitella 3, on the following days and times:
- Monday, February 9, 2026, and Monday, February 16, 2026
from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Thursday, February 12, 2026, and Thursday, February 19, 2026
from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
The following documents must be attached to the application:
- a photocopy of a valid identity document
- a copy of the residence permit and tax code
- personal data form, course registration form, and image release form, completed and signed
Note: During the registration phase, in order to verify the recipient's eligibility should their residence permit be expired, please submit a copy of the expired residence permit and the registered mail receipt or the renewal application.
In the case of a citizen who has applied for their first permit, request a copy of their passport or nominative certificate and a copy of the registered mail receipt or the application for the initial issue.
If the citizen does not possess the documents listed above, request a copy of Form C/3.
