The University for Foreigners of Perugia annually awards research fellowships lasting one or more years for the purpose of conducting research activities (pursuant to Article 22, paragraph 1 of Law No. 240 of December 30, 2010).
These fellowships enable early-career researchers with an appropriate academic background to carry out funded research activities.
The fellowships may be fully or partially funded or co-funded, not only by the University but also by research institutions, public and private organizations, and foundations.
