For each bachelor's and master's degree programme, the department council establishes, upon the Director's proposal, the corresponding programme board. Each board elects a Chair from among its members, who serves a three-year term and may be re-elected once consecutively.
In managing Quality Assurance activities, the Chair is supported by a QA management group, consisting of at least two academic staff members of the programme, and, for certain activities, is also assisted by a student representative body. The organisation and responsibilities of QA at the programme level are detailed in the Quality Assurance Guidelines of the University Quality Assurance Unit.
