The project aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • GENERAL OBJECTIVES: to enhance the international mobility of Italian higher education, foster intercultural competences, and promote and support international cooperation.
  • SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: to establish “Academic Mobility” for exchanges, promote academic programmes, include North African communities in Italy, and establish a strategic partnership.

Call for Applications for Mobility

Purpose: 

Organise exchanges, establish a Virtual Information Desk and the Virtual Education Centres in North Africa.

Create the Euromediterranean University Network.

Activities / Project Phases: 

Organise mobility for:

  • 77 students + 21 Department members (academic and administrative staff)
  • Develop at least 5 shared teaching modules/double degree programmes
  • Develop technological operating systems for digital teaching, platforms created with artificial intelligence

Publications: 

AI-Forward Declaration 2026
Within the framework of the activities of the AI-Forward Winter School (19–23 January 2026) and the Spring Days on Artificial Intelligence for Language Learning, Teaching and Assessment (18–20 May 2026), organised by the Università per Stranieri di Perugia in collaboration with ALTE as part of the TNE IMPACT project funded by the MUR, the AI-Forward Declaration 2026 has been developed.
The Declaration brings together and summarises the main insights that have emerged from discussions among researchers, lecturers, language assessment experts, institutional representatives and policy makers regarding the use of artificial intelligence in language learning, teaching and assessment. The document offers a shared vision, based on a human-centred, ethical and sustainable approach, and identifies four guiding principles for the responsible use of AI, aimed at enhancing the role of individuals and fostering innovative and inclusive educational practices.

Tutoring Call for Applications – PNRR TNE-IMPACT (MUR TNE23-00076)

Within the PNRR TNE-IMPACT project, applications are open for 8 tutoring positions (“University Buddy”). This specific initiative is coordinated by LUMSA, project partner.

Minimum requirements

  • Regular enrolment for the 2025/2026 academic year in a Master’s Degree Programme (including single-cycle, from the 4th year) or a PhD programme.
  • English language proficiency at B2 level.

Deadline: 25 October 2025.
