The application of the Community Based Learning approach to the Italian language courses at the University for Foreigners of Perugia
The aim of the project is to research glottodidactic practices designed to develop intercultural competence in students of Italian as a second language. Although the school environment in which these students study is multilingual and multicultural, a preliminary analysis reveals a lack of awareness of their own culture, of a new culture to be learned, and of the relationship between the two. For this reason, it is necessary to research and produce glottodidactic practices that can increase students' awareness and, as a result, improve their interculturality, both in the short and long term.
