The course aims to provide a general knowledge of Italian cinema and offers the historical and technical notions necessary to understand the complex audiovisual language. Through the presentation of movements, genres, and directors, students are guided in film analysis.
The teaching method is mixed, with both lectures and interactive lessons. During the course, films, essays, articles, and other study materials are provided to help students learn the specific vocabulary. Students are also stimulated through individual exercises and group work.
Possible meetings with guest speakers will be considered based on organizational possibilities.
Course fee
The course costs €75 for students already enrolled in a language course and €150 for those not enrolled.
