76 universities, 15,000 people involved for two months of meetings and screenings on the freedom of research.
The Life Senator and professor at the University of Milan, Prof. Elena Cattaneo, presented the initiative today in the Senate.
The series of events will see as many as 76 universities throughout Italy organize, between April and May 2026, a day dedicated to the themes of freedom of study and research, starting with the screening of the documentary "Giulio Regeni - All the Evil in the World" by Simone Manetti, written by Emanuele Cava and Matteo Billi, produced by Fandango and Ganesh Produzioni.
The University for Foreigners of Perugia has joined with an event that will take place on May 20, 2026, at 4:00 pm in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Gallenga.
In addition to Rector Valerio De Cesaris, participants at our university's event will include the Delegate for Peace Policies, Angela Sagnella, the Mayor of Perugia, Vittoria Ferdinandi, representatives of the doctoral candidates, Carmen Russo and Giovanni Bronzini, student representatives, and a delegation from the Mariotti High School of Perugia.
The initiative is supported by the Elena Cattaneo Foundation ETS, together with Fandango and Ganesh Produzioni.
