Overview
The support desk provides orientation, counseling, and referral services for women who are victims of violence and for LGBTQIA+ individuals who are victims of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
Services Offered
The service is completely free of charge and offers individual counseling sessions in a safe environment, managed by professionals specialized in gender-based violence and homo-lesbo-bi-transphobia. It also provides initial orientation and basic legal information, as well as a direct connection to local networks of Anti-Violence Centers (CAV) and Anti-Discrimination Centers (CAD), and relevant local associations.
Target Audience
The service is open to the entire community of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, including students, administrative and technical staff, faculty and researchers, doctoral candidates, and all contract staff.
Who We Are
The support desk is managed by the associations Libera…Mente Donna and Omphalos LGBTQIA+, which have been providing anti-violence and anti-discrimination services in the region for decades.
