The Magnificent Rector of the University for Foreigners of Perugia, Prof. Valerio De Cesaris, is taking part today, March 19, 2026, in the solemn ceremony awarding the Honorary Doctorate to the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, at the University of Salamanca, a long-standing partner of the university for international initiatives and projects.
The ceremony, presided over by King Felipe VI of Spain, is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm at the Paraninfo of the Escuelas Mayores, and is also available in live streaming on the Spanish university's YouTube channel.
