Fastenal Europe is seeking ambitious and motivated individuals to apply for the position of Trade Compliance Specialist part time. Responsibilities:
The Trade Compliance Coordinator contributes to the implementation of Fastenal’s Trade Compliance program and supports the proper import and export of goods. The position works closely with the Logistics, Product Development, Inventory, and Accounts Payable teams, supporting various compliance programs and initiatives in the EU and UK regions.
Requirements:
- Degree obtained or in progress in Economics, Operations, or related fields, or work experience in import/export or logistics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent) and Italian; knowledge of a third language is a plus
- Good command of Microsoft Office suite and basic mathematical skills
- High motivation, operational autonomy, and customer service orientation
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
- Solid problem-solving skills, deductive reasoning, and decision-making ability
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
