Extraordinary exam sessions
Any extraordinary examinations for discontinued degree programmes can be viewed in the reserved area of Esse3WEB, as requested by individual students.
“Extraordinary examination sessions” refer to all examinations that are in addition to the regular six sessions (three for Laboratory courses) that a lecturer is required to schedule in a given academic year (see University Academic Regulations).
Students who need to sit an examination for a course unit no longer offered (extraordinary exam) may request it from the lecturer whose classes or syllabus they have followed, indicating the relevant academic year (this information is available in the electronic transcript or through the study plan section on Esse3WEB). Students required to sit an exam for a discontinued course will take it with a lecturer responsible for a related subject area within the same disciplinary scientific sector (SSD).
The lecturer will schedule a date based on availability and communicate it to the Teaching Service and Student Administration Office of the Degree Programmes, which will then open the corresponding registration list on Esse3.
Extraordinary examination sessions must also be planned within the dedicated period.
