The Evaluation Committee of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia was established pursuant to Law 240/2010 and Article 15 of the current Statute. Its responsibilities are to:
- ensure the evaluation of teaching, research activities, and services
- promote the improvement of the quality and effectiveness of the University’s teaching, research, and administrative activities
According to Article 2, paragraph 1, letter r) of Law 240/2010, the Committee is also assigned the functions specified in Article 14 of Legislative Decree 150/2009 (Independent Performance Evaluation Body), relating to the evaluation procedures for departments and staff, with the aim of improving both organizational and individual performance.
The members of the Evaluation Committee serve for a term of three years, except for the student representative, whose term is two years. Each term may be renewed consecutively only once. The Committee operates with full autonomy and is guaranteed access to all necessary information and data, as well as the public disclosure and dissemination of its documents, in compliance with current regulations and in safeguarding confidentiality.
With D.R. No. 173 dated 30/04/2026, the Evaluation Committee of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia has been reconstituted for the three-year period 2026-2029.
The term of office for the current members of the Evaluation Committee, pursuant to Article 15, paragraph 5, of the current Statute, is three years (from 01/05/2026 to 30/04/2029), with the exception of the student representative, whose appointment is for two years.

The Chair of the Evaluation Committee is entitled to an annual gross remuneration of €6,972.16, excluding employer’s statutory contributions. Members of the Evaluation Committee are entitled to an annual gross remuneration of €6,507.40, excluding employer’s statutory contributions.
