The call for applications is open for 47 positions in the Young Professionals Programme of International Organizations, also known as the JPO Programme. 14 positions have been allocated to various United Nations Secretariat entities and 33 to 25 international organizations, for a total of 24 locations. 45 positions have been assigned to candidates of Italian nationality and 2 positions to candidates from developing countries.
The JPO Programme is an initiative financed by the Italian Government through the Directorate General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and managed by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN/DESA). The Programme enables qualified young people to gain educational and professional experience in international organizations for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
