“Ilaria Bertinelli” Graduation Prize – First Edition
Call for Applications for the awarding of a prize in memory of the promising scholar Ilaria Bertinelli, open to graduates and PhD holders who have obtained a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate from Italian universities in the calendar years 2025 and 2026.

Theses focused on one or more of the following research areas:

• prisons
• the penal state
• the criminalisation of poverty and marginalised groups
• security culture
• the relationship between neoliberalism and the surveillance society
• the violent repression of political dissent in Italy in the new millennium
