The University for Foreigners of Perugia in Argentina within the framework of the TNE-TRANSIT project

The mission will focus on the cities of Buenos Aires and Mendoza with a schedule of institutional meetings at the Italian diplomatic offices.

A delegation from the University for Foreigners of Perugia will be in Argentina from May 5th to 13th, 2026 as part of the ministerial project TNE-TRANSIT | Transnational Italian in Higher Education.

The delegation, led by the Rector, Prof. Valerio De Cesaris, will include: Prof. Giovanna Scocozza, Rector’s Delegate for International Relations and Director of the University Certification Center; Prof. Letizia Cinganotto, Delegate for International Relations and Professor of Foreign Language Teaching; Dr. Sara Nasini from the Communications Office; Dr. Nicole Benedetti, Head of the Orientation Service; Dr. Roberta Rondoni, Trainer at the Center for Language Assessment and Certification (CVCL); and Dr. Valentina Seri, Head of the University’s International Relations Office.

The mission will focus on the cities of Buenos Aires and Mendoza, with a schedule of institutional meetings at Italian diplomatic offices starting on May 7th, at the Embassy of Italy, the Consulates General, and the Italian Cultural Institute.

This will be followed by meetings at recognized Italian schools in Buenos Aires, as well as courses and workshops aimed at training CELI examiners and updating teachers on topics such as AI and language teaching.

The University for Foreigners will also be present at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair with an event at the Italian Cultural Institute’s booth on “The Value of the Italian Language Today as a Language of Culture.”

Finally, the University will hold institutional meetings and a specific workshop at the University of Mendoza as an initiative to disseminate the ministerial TNE-TRANSIT project, funded by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) and aimed at developing transnational educational initiatives in six target countries with inbound and outbound international mobility actions, including Argentina, and in particular the University of Mendoza.
