A.Y. 2025-2026

The University for Foreigners of Perugia promotes orientation programs within the projects related to “Active Guidance in the Transition from School to University” as part of the PNRR, Mission 4. “Education and Research,” through an educational offering characterized by the delivery of courses aimed at students in upper secondary schools.
The purpose of the project is to support and facilitate the transition from school to university for students in the third, fourth, and fifth years, offering a clear and concrete overview of the University's educational offerings to provide students with the tools they need to make informed choices that match their skills and interests.
The measure aims to facilitate and encourage the passage from upper secondary school to university and to reduce the number of university dropouts, thereby contributing to an increase in the number of graduates.
The initiative offers courses for the benefit of all students starting from the first year of high school to support them in choosing tertiary education, facilitating a better match between preparation and career paths, and helping them navigate the transition from school to university.
Objectives
The organization of the courses, in addition to supporting the creation of an inclusive learning environment sensitive to the needs of learners, aims to develop employability skills, taking into account students’ aspirations, their educational paths, and the demands of today's job market. In particular, it aims to:
- introduce the context and value of higher education as an opportunity for personal growth through the educational offerings provided by the University
- propose an active, participatory, and hands-on disciplinary teaching methodology
- enable students to self-assess, verify, and consolidate their knowledge in order to reduce the gap between what they possess and what is required for their chosen course of study
- strengthen reflective and transversal skills
- illustrate possible career opportunities and job prospects in line with the knowledge and skills acquired
Course duration and frequency
All courses have a duration of 15 hours.
A 70% attendance is required, of which at least two-thirds must be in person.
At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be issued.
Please note: the courses are valid as PCTO.

To join the project, schools can complete the specific online form by October 31, 2025. They will then be contacted by the University Orientation Service, which will confirm the availability of the chosen course.
PLEASE NOTE:
