Do you want to travel and visit Umbria by bus with a single discounted fare pass?
Students enrolled for the academic year 2025-2026 can take advantage of the TPL UMBRIA-UNIPG Pass and travel unlimitedly on the Local Public Transport services of the Umbria Region, which include:
- local public transport services with both urban and suburban buses
- Sansepolcro – Terni and Perugia Ponte San Giovanni – Perugia Sant’Anna railway line (formerly Central Umbrian Railway)
- Minimetrò
- Orvieto funicular
The following students enrolled or registered at the University for Foreigners of Perugia can apply for the pass, belonging to the following categories:
- bachelor’s degree courses
- master’s degree courses
- incoming Erasmus program
- foreign students attending Italian language and culture courses
- PhD courses
- first and second level master's programs
- advanced training courses
- teacher training course
- single courses
To obtain the pass, you must first request it on the Esse3WEB platform of the University for Foreigners of Perugia and pay the amount of €60.00 via Pago PA notice, either at the time of enrollment/registration or at a later time.
- Access the Umbria school/university subscriptions portal by Busitalia with your SALGO app credentials; if you do not have them, proceed with registration
- Create the virtual card by uploading your passport photo, selecting the profile UNIPG AND UNIPG STRA (already paid via PagoPA), entering the Tax Code (this operation needs to be carried out only once to verify the payment of €60.00), and indicating the mobile number of the device where you use the SALGO app
- Select the TPL UMBRIA-UNIPG pass subscription, indicating the phone number of the mobile device where you will view the pass (you can only select one phone number associated with a single device), and complete the pass issuing process at no cost
- Afterwards, log in to the SALGO app and authenticate with your credentials. Your personal pass will be available in the “MY TITLES” section of the app
The pass is issued on the SALGO App, after payment of the required amount, within five business days following payment.
The TPL UMBRIA-UNIPG pass is valid from October 1, 2025 until September 30, 2026.
