What it is about
The help desk offers guidance, support, and referral services for women who are victims of violence and for LGBTQIA+ individuals who experience discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
What it offers
The service is completely free and provides individual counseling sessions in a safe space managed by professionals experienced in gender-based violence and homo-lesbo-bi-transphobia; initial guidance and basic information on legal matters; and a direct connection with the network of CAV and CAD services in the area as well as with local associations.
Who it is for
The service is open to the entire community of the University for Foreigners of Perugia: students, technical and administrative staff, teaching and research staff, PhD students, and all contract workers.
Who we are
The help desk is run by the associations Libera...Mente Donna and Omphalos LGBTQIA+, both of which have been providing anti-violence and anti-discrimination services in the region for decades.
