To access the service, you need to have a membership card.
To request the membership card:
- print and fill in the appropriate form
- submit it by email to biblioteca@unistrapg.it or in person at the library
- attach a passport photo
What you can borrow
Home loans cover most books that are not textbooks.
Generally excluded are: rare books, magazines, encyclopedias and dictionaries, codes, and degree theses.
Textbooks, meaning course books for exams, are available for consultation in the reading room only, except in cases where the Library has a second copy that can be borrowed.
You can borrow up to 3 items at the same time.
How to request a loan
- by email to biblioteca@unistrapg.it, stating the author, title and shelf location of the book (to be sent from your @unistrapg.it address)
- directly in the reading room, by contacting the staff
Loan duration
- Textbooks (multiple copies): maximum 7 days - non-renewable
- Other books: maximum 21 days
You can renew a loan for up to two more weeks, provided that the book has not already been requested or reserved by other users. After this period, the loan cannot be extended further.
You can reserve or renew a loan by emailing biblioteca@unistrapg.it.
Collection and return of books
You can collect books in the reading room, after confirmation from the library for requests made by email.
You can return books at any time during the Library’s opening hours, without an appointment.
