Echo II Livescribe
Echo II Livescribe is a Smartpen that helps take notes because it records and synchronizes the audio with handwritten notes.
With this tool it is possible to:
- replay audio directly from the notebook by tapping on the notes
- digitize handwritten notes
- store recordings and notes within the Livescribe+ app
The Livescribe+ software is available for Windows and Mac OS platforms as well as for Android, Apple, and Amazon Fire tablets and smartphones.
To use it, you need notebooks printed with a dot pattern (isometric paper).

LEGGIXUNI is a free program designed to support studying. Inside, you’ll find text-to-speech, a dictionary and translator, tools for creating mind maps, a specific program for math, and a program for managing PDF files.
Installation is only available for the Windows operating system.

Braille printer
Braille printer prints a text in braille code on paper.
The SensusAccess platform allows the conversion of files into braille format; these files can then be printed using the printer made available to students at OpenAula.

Video magnifier
The video magnifier is a tool capable of enlarging texts and images to improve their visibility and readability.
Students have access to a desktop video magnifier in the library.
With this tool it is possible to:
- enlarge texts to improve reading
- enlarge images and photographs to enhance visibility
