Services available to students with disabilities

  • Certification pursuant to Law 104/92
  • Civil disability certification (recognized at 66% or higher) pursuant to Law 118/197
  • For students holding clinical certification issued by authorities from other countries, it is necessary to present documentation legalized by Italian diplomatic or consular representatives abroad and accompanied by a translation into Italian by an officially authorized translator
  • For Erasmus students with disabilities, or other diagnosed conditions, the clinical documentation must be accompanied by a statement of compliance and validity issued by the Disability Services of the home University

Note: It is necessary to promptly communicate any updates to the diagnosis.

The University promotes inclusive teaching that recognizes and values individual differences. We aim to establish a dialogue from the very beginning between the student, the SDDA, and the teaching staff in order to identify suitable study methods and personalized teaching strategies.

The measures and adjustments are decided individually in collaboration with the SDDA, which verifies their necessity based on medical documentation and the individual profile.

Subsequently, these measures are formally communicated to the teaching staff by the delegated lecturer, authorizing their implementation during exams. Remember that for certain adjustments, it is necessary to act well in advance to allow for the organization of the required measures.

Please note: the measures do not include a reduction of the syllabus.
