The Open Aula is a space dedicated to inclusive technologies available to all students of the University.
In particular, it has been designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities and specific learning disorders (SLD) by offering information and communication technologies (ICT).

The laboratory is located in the Valitutti building on floor -1, and access must be arranged with the Educational Pedagogical Counseling Desk in order to ensure both the necessary tools and the best strategies for their use through targeted advice, aimed at identifying individual learning needs and developing an effective study method.

Each workstation is equipped with a computer featuring specific software to compensate for and support individual difficulties (text-to-speech, file management) and to enhance comprehension and memory performance (creation of mind maps and diagrams).
Among the available equipment to try out are a printer, a Braille printer, an interactive whiteboard (LIM), an OCR scanner, and a voice recorder.
Students can also request additional tools such as a tablet and a smart pen.
